 About ITC Master Chef Spices

ITC has recently launched a new brand, “ITC Master Chef” with four masala variants developed by the Master Chefs of ITC with deep understanding of the taste of Tamil Nadu.

Your favourite dishes prepared with these masalas will definitely take you back to those good old memories when your mother/grandmother made these dishes with carefully picked ingredients and ground the masalas at home very meticulously and with a whole lot of love. These blends have been prepared with a deep understanding of local flavours and the taste and aroma of these masalas will bring alive your childhood memories every time.

  1. Chettinad Chicken
  • First to market this product
  • Made from recipes by the finest Karaikudi chefs
  1. Thanjavur Sambar:
  • Result of extensive co-creation with housewives/ elderly women selling powder/Caterers/Hotels and Chefs in TN
  • Sambar from the land where Sambar was created first
  1. Madurai Kulambu Milakai:
  • Result of extensive Co-creation with  housewives and Chefs
  • Multi-purpose masala
  1. Madras Milagu Rasam:
  • Result of extensive co-creation with housewives/ elderly women selling        powder/Caterers/Hotels and Chefs in TN

About the ITC Masterchef Contest 

ITC Masterchef has Run down a Contest for the Cooking Experts to cook a Dish using one of the Masterchef Spice and Present it to the Panel. I was one among the 3 Panel Judges for the Contest. The Activity took place at the Express Avenue ,Royapettah. with the Huge crowd in the mall it was a task for the contestant to present the final dish. 

The Event is a great source to bring the talents to the light and a stage for the home cooks to showcase their skills. there was many interesting dishes which was healthy and lot of innovative dishes which has been put on plates. 

It was Great Experience Judging the ITC Masterchef Contest and the Spice Masala are Definitely Perfect home spice material.
